High School Summer School Original Credit Session registration April 3 - May 5, 2023.
*High School Summer Summer School Credit Recovery Session One registration will open in May.
*Junior High Summer School Credit Recovery will open in May.
The Tomball ISD secondary summer school program is designed to provide an opportunity for students to take courses for original credit. Students may take one semester of a course per session (½ credit per session) and earn a maximum of one high school credit during Summer School. Students enrolled in grades 9-12 for the 2023-24 school year may take Original Credit courses.

High School Courses
Courses will be offered only during the session(s) indicated and only if a sufficient number of students (15) enroll in the course. Students will be notified as early as possible in the event that a course is canceled. Courses may be combined in order for classes to occur. Classes also may be closed once a maximum student enrollment cap is reached.

Payments are made through the TISD Home Access Center (HAC) accessed via TISD Parent LINK or through the TISD Summer School website. If you forgot your password or need assistance please email parentlink@tomballisd.net.
Student Fees
$155 if paying online with Credit/Debt Card
$310 if a non-TISD student online with Credit/Debt Card
Registration is incomplete until payment is received. No refunds will be made after the session begins.

TISD Students
Step 1.
Login to parent HAC account and click the Summer School Registration icon (Parent HAC must be used to complete registration).
Step 2.
Click to register for the available original or recovery summer school session link.
Step 3.
Complete the summer school registration form.
3.1. Pay the session fee for each session and enter the receipt number on the form.
3.2. Complete the rest of the form and click the save and submit button.

NON-TISD Students
Step 1.
If you do not have an account, please create one by clicking the create account tab from the TISD Parent LINK Homepage.
Step 2.
Login to TISD Parent LINK account and click the Summer School Registration link (if you do not have an account, please create one by clicking the create account tab as directed in Step 1).
Step 3.
Click to register for the available original or recovery summer school session link.
Step 4.
Complete the summer school registration form.
4.1. Pay the session fee for each session and enter the receipt number on the form.
4.2. Complete the rest of the form and click the save and submit button.

Student Expectations
Attendance
Content is adjusted to maximize time. Attendance is critical. Students are expected to attend in person each day. Students will not receive credit if they attend less than 13 of the 14 days per session. No refunds will be made.
Behavior
Expectations for Secondary Summer School are the same as during the regular school year. Refer to your Tomball ISD Student Handbook for more specific information. Severe or persistent misconduct will result in removal of the student for the remainder of the session with forfeiture of fees.

The Tomball ISD secondary summer school program is designed to provide an opportunity for students to repeat failed courses. Make-up credits are offered through courses and through self-paced Grad Lab. It is possible for students to make up more than one semester per session based on their efforts. Courses will be offered for students who need to make up credit in grades 9-12. Make up credits for grades 7-8 will be with a teacher and one course can be made up each session.

Additional information related to available meals
If your child qualifies for Free/Reduced Lunch status for the 2022-2023 school year there is a discounted fee for Credit Recovery courses. Instead of accessing the link emailed to you after registering, you can email Summer School Principal Mark Vierkant at markvierkant@tomballisd.net and he will handle your payment directly.
Please visit www.schoolcafe.com to access the meal application, if needed. Qualifying for this current school year, 2022-2023, will allow for a 30 day carryover of benefits into the new school year.
