Single Table Phase Breakdown
October 10, 2023 – at the Tomball ISD School Board Meeting, the District presented its plan to open another school at the Tomball Innovation Center. The new campus will be an intermediate school serving students in grades 5 and 6 and will bring consistent grade configurations across the entire district. All elementary schools will now serve grades K-4, intermediate schools grades 5 and 6, junior high schools grades 7 and 8, and high schools grades 9 through 12. This new campus --Intermediate School #5-- is scheduled to open for the 2026-2027 school year.
Additionally, the District presented information to the Board regarding the District Zone Reset, the process that would be followed for adjusting attendance boundaries to incorporate the new schools and provide relief to schools that are at or above capacity. Tomball ISD has always valued community voice, but now more than ever, we want our stakeholders informed and engaged in this process. The process for the District Zone Reset is outlined below.
This page is the primary source for all information and relevant materials, during this process. Please know that the final plans approved in January will be developed with the best interest of all District students and families in mind. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we continue to find ways to provide optimal educational experiences and facilities for our rapidly growing District.
Tomball ISD is a Destination District where Excellence is found no matter where you land on our map.
