Bond 2017
ALL BOND 2017 PROJECTS COMPLETED
Tomball ISD voters approved a $275 million bond referendum, known as Bond 2017, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. The unofficial vote was 2,658 for the bond and 927 against. Bond 2017 addressed adding new district facilities, renovations at existing campuses, new technology, and additional school buses. Bond 2017 provided
- A new elementary school (Grand Oaks) and junior high school (Grand Lakes)
- A classroom expansion project at Tomball Memorial High School
- New agricultural science project center for Tomball High School
- New natatorium for Tomball Memorial High School
- New district football stadium (TISD Stadium + Tomball Event Center)
- Instructional technology such as laptops, Chromebooks, and document cameras as well as upgrades in the district technology infrastructure
- Fine arts auditorium renovations at Tomball High School
- Renovations to the front elevation of Tomball Intermediate School
- Turf added to the baseball and softball fields at Tomball High School and Tomball Memorial High School
- Purchase of land sites in the district and the installation of utilities for property the district already owns
- Purchase of buses
