Samora Davis is the Director of Intervention and Languages Other Than English. In addition, Mrs. Davis serves as the District 504 Coordinator and Summer School Coordinator. She has 17 years of experience in the field of education in both elementary and secondary. She began her teaching career as a Spanish teacher at Tomball High School, and from there served as a bilingual educational diagnostician in elementary and secondary in Cy-Fair ISD and Houston ISD. As an assistant principal at Tomball Memorial High School, Mrs. Davis focused on supporting students, teachers, and parents.
In her new role as a part of the Student Support Department, Mrs. Davis is focused on equipping teachers and administrators with the ability to identify mental health, behavioral, and academic needs for our Tomball ISD student by the implementation of intervention Tomball ISD. Intervention improves the quality of core instruction, and it increases equity in learning opportunities for all students. When we keep students at the center and focus of everything that we do in education, success becomes an attainable goal for everyone!
Mrs. Davis was recently featured in Voyage Houston's online magazine in its new series, The Trailblazers: Rewriting the Narrative, which highlights and celebrates female role models, encourages more equal and just representation in the media, and helps foster a more tight-knit community.
