I'm excited to start my 20th year in Tomball ISD! I moved to Tomball with my husband William when we were expecting our first child and wanted to live in a small town. Now we have a freshman at Lone Star Honors College (he wants to be a math teacher) and a Junior at Tomball Memorial High School who wants to join the Marine Corps.
I am proud of my work in Tomball, and especially proud that the focus of the Student Support team is Social-Emotional Learning. It is my passion to help families of students with emotional, behavioral, and/or social challenges. A student's disability in these areas affects the entire family, often resulting in isolation, guilt, and judgment by others.
If you have a friend or neighbor who has a child with an emotional, behavioral or social challenge, offer to help them, just like you would if their child had cancer or a physical ailment.
If you or a member of your family is struggling with mental illness, ask for help!
