Educational Diagnostician/Bilingual

Welcome TISD family to  2018-2019 school year!
I was not born in Texas but moved to the area in 1988 from Uruguay, South America. My husband (Armando) and I have two daughters who graduated from TISD and attended Lone Star College in Tomball. We are proud to share that we recently added another member to out family, Sofia. She is an international student also attending Lone Star College in Tomball. As you can see, we are very proud of our Tomball community and love to part of it.
Since I was a little kid, I knew I wanted to be a teacher so that's exactly what I did. I earned a Bachelors Degree in Science from Texas Southern University in Houston and a Masters Degree in Multicultural Special Education and Educational Diagnostician from Saint Thomas University also in Houston.
I have worked in Tomball since 1999 as a Bilingual (English/Spanish) teacher serving Pre-kinder, Kinder, 2nd grade, 3rd grade and 2nd/3rd combined at WCES and RES. I have enjoyed working with students with special needs since 2009 as an itinerant Special Education teacher district wide and later as an Educational Diagnostician serving several campuses.
I do enjoy may position in serving students and families during their journey with us.
Should you have any questions and/or concerns that I could help you with, please contact me at or call me at 281-357-3280 Ext 3214.
