Career & Technology Education (CTE) students will be productive in leading and serving our society.
Preparing students for the real world in a real way.
CTE is preparation for the future! The purpose of all CTE programs is to provide students with rigorous and relevant experience that will prepare them and educate them on growing, high wage career fields. There's a misconception that these programs aren't for college bound students. CTE courses are for anyone. They're for anyone who will ever live on their own, manage a budget, have a career or who wants to be a successful adult.
A related series of courses that are grouped together by interest or skill set. They provide students with in-depth knowledge of a subject area. There are five (5) endorsement areas offered in Texas.

A pathway or program of study is a coherent sequence of courses that fosters a progressive growth in knowledge and skill development.
These pathways or programs of study are further enriched by a strategic collaboration with their corresponding business community.
