McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act ensures educational rights for children and youth experiencing homelessness and defines "homeless children and youths" as "individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence." Families who think they may qualify as homeless should contact the Director of Administrative Services to inquire about eligibility and possible benefits.
