Awards & Recognition

Financial statements of Tomball ISD are annually submitted to both The Association of School Business Officials (ASBO), International and The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for review. These organizations encourage excellence in financial reporting by state and local governments, and enforce strict disclosure requirements on entities requesting review. Tomball ISD is committed to significantly higher standards in financial reporting and has received the following awards for financial statement  presentation and disclosure. It should be noted that out of 1,022 school districts in Texas only 79 receive the GFOA award and only  51 receive the ASBO award. Only 4.70% of Texas school districts received such recognition from both associations.
