The Tomball Board of Trustees, Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora and the district Executive Team joined together with project partners PBK Architects, Inc., Gilbane Building Co. and Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. with an official groundbreaking ceremony May 29th, 2019.
Site development begins for the new district complex featuring a new elementary school, new junior high school and a state-of-the-art stadium and community center located at the corner of Cypress-Rosehill Road and Grand Parkway/Hwy 99.
Work has been steady on the complex site! The detention pond is about 70% complete and the stadium bowl/berms are 90% complete. Sanitary and electrical underground is wrapping up at the elementary school and foundation/grade beam pours have begun. The west parking lot is also progressing having been cleared, compacted and ready for fill to begin to fill to the final subgrade. Good weather has allowed an efficient work period on all site work!
Below are architectural renderings of the desired appearance of each facility.
Elementary School: The new 117,00 square foot elementary school will serve grades K-4 with a design capacity of 900 students.
