Professional job openings (teachers, counselors, librarians, administrators) are posted on the district website throughout the calendar year as vacancies arise. Principals, department heads and other hiring personnel across the district will view applications, search for applicants with qualifications that fit their current vacancies, contact selected applicants directly for interviews, and make recommendations for employment. Once recommended for employment, applicants are notified by the Human Talent Department to schedule a final interview, complete required paperwork, and obtain an employee ID badge.
In order to make the interviewing/hiring process as streamlined as possible, the district asks applicants not to contact principals or hiring managers directly by telephone or just "stop by".
Online job postings are updated as vacancies become available. If a job is no longer listed, this is an indication it has been filled or closed and is no longer available. Be sure to view the job postings on a regular basis and consider signing up for job alerts. Representatives of the district also recruit at teacher job fairs in the area.
