Hanigan + Johnson Orthodontics Gives Back to Tomball Education Foundation

TOMBALL - Every successful school district is backed by a supportive and dedicated community. For Tomball ISD and the Education Foundation, the Tomball community support goes above and beyond most.

Hanigan + Johnson Orthodontics, located in two locations in Tomball, presented a check for $7,500 to the Tomball Education Foundation. This group was able to give back to Tomball ISD by creating and printing the Wednesday folders for every elementary and intermediate student in the district to take home each week.

"We are proud of the community that we live and work in. Many members of our team have had children graduate from a school in Tomball ISD or are currently attending one of the schools.  We know Tomball ISD offers a top-notch education,” Hanigan + Johnson Orthodontics said.

“We saw the need for each child in elementary and intermediate schools to have a weekly folder. Because of this knowledge, we formed a vision and partnered with local businesses to make this vision happen. As a result this was a win-win for the community and the school district. By joining forces with local businesses, we were able to provide folders for each child at no cost plus raise money to donate to the Tomball Education Foundation."

Accompanying Hanigan + Johnson Orthodontics in the overall effort were several neighborhood sponsors that were able contribute back to their hometown school district. The donation will benefit the Tomball Education Foundation, which directly helps fund educational projects and activities that are beyond traditional funding.

“We are extremely blessed and honored to have many supportive community leaders and businesses that put education first by supporting our school district,” Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora, Superintendent of Schools said. “We want to extend many thanks to all of the businesses, including Hanigan & Johnson Orthodontics, who contributed to our student folder project this year. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with our Tomball community.”
