Tomball ISD Honors Students at 18+ Completion Ceremony
18+ Ceremony

TOMBALL - Tomball ISD proudly celebrated students from its Community Connections and LIFE 18+ Program during the District’s annual 18+ Completion Ceremony, recognizing their accomplishments, growth, and preparation for the next chapter of their lives.

The ceremony honored students who have demonstrated perseverance, independence, and personal achievement through their participation in Tomball ISD’s specialized transition programs, which are designed to help students build life, career, and social skills for success beyond the classroom.

This year’s ceremony featured special guest speaker Dr. Lee Ann Nutt, President of Lone Star College-Tomball, who shared words of encouragement and inspiration with students, families, staff, and community members in attendance.

“Tomball ISD is so proud of these students and all they have accomplished,” said Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora. “This celebration represents the hard work, growth, and bright futures of each student, as well as the love and support provided by our staff, families, and community partners every step of the way.”

The District also extends sincere appreciation to its many community partners whose ongoing support and collaboration provide meaningful opportunities for students in the Community Connections and LIFE 18+ Program. Through internships, job training, volunteer experiences, and real-world learning opportunities, these partnerships play a vital role in helping students develop confidence, independence, and valuable workforce skills.
