What are your plans after you graduate from Tomball Star Academy?
Continuing to keep my #WINGSUP. As much as I would love to stay at TSA, I will be attending the University of Houston for pre-nursing.
What has been the best part about attending Tomball Star Academy?
The best part about attending TSA was the college experience I gained. TSA was a place where I could explore new interests and gain a sense of independence and responsibility. Due to the small class size, I was able to form deeper bonds with all the students, teachers, and professors. All the relationships I have made here are irreplaceable and I will cherish the memories of everyone for decades to come.
What will you miss the most about high school?
The thing I will miss the most about high school is the atmosphere. I will miss having my friends around every day and the excitement of school events like prom and extracurriculars. I will definitely miss the feeling of being part of a community and having a sense of belonging.
What did you learn from your high school experience that you will take with you into college?
In high school, I have learned how to manage my time better with the extensive amount of homework and tests given in AP courses. Also, through group projects I have learned how to collaborate with others and value different ideas to reach a common goal. Lastly, because of the knowledge I have gained in different clubs and classes, I have learned the value in trying new things.
Change starts with me. I have to take initiative to make myself a better person and a successful student. Entering college, I will use my education, talent, and voice to create a better tomorrow for myself and generations to come.
Who would you like to thank?
I owe a great deal of gratitude to so many. I would first like to thank my parents and family for sacrificing their days for me and helping me in millions of ways that I don’t always see. Thank you to my teachers for their selflessness in giving their time, talent, and knowledge to me. Big shoutout and thank you to my friends, every one of you guys was the reason I was able to make it through high school. You all have gone beyond what was expected of you.

What are your plans after you graduate from Tomball Star Academy?
After graduating from TSA, I plan to attend Texas A&M University to earn a degree in Biomedical Engineering.
What has been the best part about attending Tomball Star Academy?
The best part about attending TSA is the sense of independence that we got from having to manage our own time while having balance classes at Lone Star College.
What will you miss the most about high school?
The thing I will miss the most about high school is the close-knit nature of the school and how I got to know everyone in my grade. I like how the teachers can work closely with each student, and I can depend on them for anything.
What did you learn from your high school experience that you will take with you into college?
I think the most important thing I learned from TSA is the ability to manage my classes and to be introduced early to college classes so that by the time I get to A&M, the big adjustments that most high school graduates face their first year of college have already been faced…thus making the transition to university life seamless.
Who would you like to thank?
I would like to thank Mr. Gencer for being the best math teacher I've ever had as he could break down and explain any topic, no matter how hard it may be, in a way that everyone can understand. I would also like to thank Mrs. Torres for always bringing positive energy that can brighten anyone's day. Furthermore, I would like to thank all of my other teachers who gave it all they've got and expected nothing less of us. Lastly, I would like to thank my parents for sacrificing their time and effort to support me throughout my high school career.
