What has been the best part about attending Tomball High School?
“The best part about attending Tomball High School was being a part of the community and legacy of Tomball. My family has lived in Tomball since 1935, and I am a third-generation Tomball Cougar. Joining this legacy and being a representative of my school and my hometown as a student of Tomball High School was truly an honor. As a member of the Tomball Cougar Pride Band, I had the privilege of representing my school in the community parades each year and competing for hometown pride across the state.”
What are your plans after you graduate from Tomball High School?
“After graduation, I will attend Texas A&M University where I will be part of the Business Honors program in the Mays Business School. I will also be a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets and the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band.”
What will you miss the most about high school?
“I will miss supporting my school underneath the Friday Night Lights, hanging out at Cane’s after special events like homecoming and Powder Puff, and cruising around my hometown with my best friends. These all-American experiences created lasting memories that I will carry with me.”
What did you learn from your high school experience that you will take with you into college?
“I served as percussion captain of the Tomball Cougar Pride Band for three years, band vice president my junior year, and band president my senior year. When added on top of my academics, these extracurricular responsibilities created a hefty workload. Balancing extracurriculars and academics taught me to embrace hard work, prioritize my time, and persevere through challenging situations. These skills will be invaluable to me in college and beyond.”
Who would you like to thank?
First and foremost, I would like to thank God. He has blessed me with all of my knowledge, skills, and abilities. To Him alone be the glory. I would also like to thank my parents. They instilled a love of learning in me from a very young age and have given me all the support I could have ever needed. Without them, I would not be where I am today. In addition, I would like to thank my two older siblings for paving the way for me in high school and always giving great advice.”
