TOMBALL — Tomball ISD Superintendent Dr. Salazar-Zamora has been selected as a United States Delegate to the prestigious International Education Symposium held in conjunction with Bett Global Education Week, the world’s leading education innovation and technology conference, taking place in London. 

Her selection places her among a highly selective group of US Delegates, representing Texas, Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, New York, Oregon and West Virginia. She also  joins global delegates from Brazil, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and multiple Asian nations.

Bett Global brings together education leaders from across the globe, hosting more than 25,000 participants from over 250 countries and serving as a premier forum for collaboration, innovation, and policy discussions in education.

As part of the International Symposium, Dr. Salazar-Zamora will engage in high-level discussions at the University of Cambridge, focusing on Generative Artificial Intelligence within the educational infrastructure while exploring how AI can support equitable learning opportunities, enhance instructional practices, and prepare students for a complex global future.

Dr. Salazar-Zamora’s participation directly reflects and reinforces Tomball ISD’s innovative culture, where forward-thinking leadership, continuous improvement, and student-centered learning are foundational priorities. Her engagement on the global stage ensures Tomball ISD remains connected to emerging research, best practices, and international perspectives that strengthen teaching and learning across the District.

In addition to symposium sessions, Dr. Salazar-Zamora will tour one of the nation’s top Apple Distinguished Schools, gaining insight into cutting-edge instructional practices and technology integration. She will also visit the UK Parliament, where delegates will discuss education policy, legislative decision-making, and the role of government in supporting innovation and access in education systems worldwide.

A passionate advocate for education and a committed lifelong learner, Dr. Salazar-Zamora brings a global mindset back to Tomball ISD—ensuring students and educators benefit from the latest research, policy discussions, and instructional innovations shaping education across the world.
