TMHS’ Dr. Jeff Bailey Named 2022-23 Tomball ISD Secondary Principal of the Year

TOMBALL - Tomball Memorial High School Principal Dr. Jeff Bailey has been recognized as the 2022-2023 Tomball ISD Secondary Principal of the Year, voted on by his peers.

Bailey has served education for 24 years, six as a campus Principal. He has been in Tomball ISD and at TMHS as its campus leader for the last two years.

Under Bailey’s leadership, Tomball Memorial High School students continue to excel in all areas, whether it is academics, fine arts, athletics, UIL or in CTE programs. He has led TMHS into one of the top high schools in the State of Texas. 

"Tomball ISD is incredibly proud of Dr. Jeff Bailey and this accolade,” said Dr. Mindy Munoz, TISD Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools. “While Dr. Bailey was surprised by this announcement today, it comes as no surprise to us.  He always goes to extraordinary lengths to meet the needs of the students and staff at TMHS.  Dr. Bailey’s passion for education shines through in everything he does as a leader.” 

What are you most proud of as Principal? 
“I’m most proud of the success of our students and staff. Our students and staff perform at a high level and also demonstrate character in all they do. From extracurricular activities to academics, our students and staff excel!”

What is the most rewarding aspect of being a campus leader? 
“The opportunity to support our students and staff so they can achieve their goals and aspirations through hard work, determination and character.”
