Superintendent Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora Named TCWSE President
TOMBALL - Tomball ISD proudly announces that Superintendent Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora has been appointed as the new President of the Texas Council of Women School Executives (TCWSE).
With a distinguished career in education and commitment to leadership development, Dr. Salazar-Zamora will guide the organization during its 40th year anniversary in its mission to empower and support women in educational leadership across Texas.
Dr. Salazar-Zamora is a dedicated advocate for women in leadership, and has spent her career championing mentorship, professional growth, and opportunities that empower women in education.
“I’m deeply honored to serve as the President of TCWSE in its 40th year,” Dr. Salazar-Zamora said. “As President, I will continue to foster a supportive network for women leaders, expand mentorship programs, and ensure that aspiring female educators have the resources and guidance they need to succeed. I truly believe that having a supportive and connected community of women leaders is essential in breaking barriers, sharing knowledge, and advancing the future of education.”
TCWSE was founded in 1984 and is a united community of professional educational executives who promote equity and quality in leadership through renewal, mentoring, and career advancement support.
In addition to her serving in this leadership capacity, Dr. Salazar-Zamora also currently serves as President of the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) in its Centennial Year. She is just the sixth female to lead TASA and first Latina holding the top President position.
