TOMBALL - Recognized for their dedication to education in Tomball ISD and their commitment to providing an exceptional classroom experience for their students, Tomball ISD teachers were honored by Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora as Spring 2026 Superintendent Shining Stars.

These Tomball ISD educators had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Salazar-Zamora over lunch to share their thoughts on teaching, why they continue to remain a part of Tomball ISD to pursue their passion, and how TISD, as District, can support them in order to continue positively impacting the students within its Destination District. 

Outstanding teachers serving Tomball ISD at both the elementary and secondary levels are honored twice a year as Superintendent Shining Stars.


ABOUT TOMBALL ISD
Tomball ISD educates students to become responsible, productive citizens by providing innovative, individually rigorous, and personally valuable educational experiences. Founded in 1908, Tomball ISD now encompasses 83 square miles in northwest Harris County and southwest Montgomery County, and is located approximately 30 miles from downtown Houston. The district currently educates over 23,300 students across 25 campuses.
