Dr. Salazar-Zamora Recognizes TISD Educators as Fall 2022 Superintendent Shining Stars

TOMBALL - Recognized for their dedication over the years to Tomball ISD and their commitment to high-quality instruction, Tomball ISD teachers were honored by Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora as Superintendent Shining Stars this November.

  • Tiffany Tranchilla (Lakewood Elementary, 2nd Grade)
  • Andy Easton (Tomball Memorial High School, Band Director)
  • Megan Johnson (Creekview Elementary, 3rd Grade)
  • Jennifer Love (Grand Lakes Junior High, Science)

These Tomball ISD educators had the opportunity to meet with Salazar-Zamora over lunch to share their thoughts on teaching, why they continue to remain a part of Tomball ISD to pursue their passion, and how TISD, as District, can support them in order to continue positively impacting the students within its Destination District.

Outstanding teachers serving Tomball ISD at both the elementary and secondary levels are honored twice a year as Superintendent Shining Stars.
