TOMBALL - Tomball ISD is excited to welcome Dr. Alexis Vale to Team Tomball as the next Principal of Wildwood Elementary. She fills the role previously held by Dr. Letty Roman, who has left to pursue a promotional opportunity.

Dr. Vale joins Tomball ISD directly from Houston ISD where she has served as a campus Principal at Crockett Elementary since 2021.

As an educator, Dr. Vale began her career as an elementary school teacher at Harvard Elementary in HISD in 2012. After four years, she was promoted to Assistant Principal at Harvard Elementary, serving in that capacity until 2020.

Not only does she bring elementary experience having successfully led an elementary International Baccalaureate (IB) school, but she has also spent time as an educational consultant, specializing in continuous professional development and the PLC process in 2020-2021.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, her Master of Education in Educational Leadership and her Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership both from the University of St. Thomas.

What is it about education that you love so much?
“The collaborative nature of education, where students, teachers, and the community work together toward common goals, is incredibly fulfilling. It is inspiring to be part of a field that fosters innovation and has a lasting impact on individuals, making the world a better place.”

What can the WES community expect from you as their next leader?
“As the next leader of WES, I will champion a positive, inclusive, safe, and supportive environment for all students, staff, and families. I am excited to engage with the Wildwood community, build strong relationships, and collaborate to uphold our commitment to high standards of academic excellence.”


ABOUT TOMBALL ISD
Tomball ISD educates students to become responsible, productive citizens by providing innovative, individually rigorous, and personally valuable educational experiences. Founded in 1908, Tomball ISD now encompasses 83 square miles in northwest Harris County and southwest Montgomery County, and is located approximately 30 miles from downtown Houston. The district currently educates over 22,500 students across 23 campuses. West Elementary will open August 2024.
