Charles Hall Named Next Principal of Tomball Connections Academy

TOMBALL - Tomball ISD has announced Mr. Charles Hall as the next Principal of Tomball Connections Academy. He replaces Bob Frost who recently announced his retirement from education.

“A great leader doesn't just manage a school; they build a community where every student feels seen and supported,” said Dr. Mindy Munoz, TISD Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools. “For years, Charles Hall has been doing exactly that across Tomball ISD. His deep roots in education, paired with his genuine passion for student success, make him the perfect leader to guide Tomball Connections Academy into its next bright chapter.”

Mr. Hall currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Tomball Intermediate and brings more than 20 years of experience in public education as both a classroom teacher and campus administrator. He has served in campus leadership roles within Tomball ISD since 2021.

He joined Tomball ISD in 2017 as a PALS teacher at Tomball Junior High before transitioning to serve as a Life18 teacher from 2018-2021. He later served as the Tomball Star Academy Coordinator of School Operations and Special Education prior to becoming Assistant Principal at TIS.

Before joining Team Tomball, Mr. Hall served as Principal of Ehrhardt Elementary in a neighboring district from 2012-2017. His administrative experience also includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Kaiser Elementary beginning in 2005.

Mr. Hall began his educational career in 2003 as a Life Skills teacher at both the elementary and intermediate levels. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Baylor University and his Master of Education from Sam Houston State University.

What was intriguing about becoming the next leader at Tomball Connections Academy?
I am excited for the opportunity to work with students from across the district and support the unique programs housed at TCA. From Success Academy and Community Connections 18+ to DAEP, each program serves students in different ways, and I’m excited to help them grow and succeed.

What is it about education that you love so much?
The relationships. Education gives you the opportunity to build meaningful connections with students and make an impact that goes far beyond the classroom. Seeing students grow and knowing you play a small part in their future is incredibly rewarding.

What can the TCA school community expect of you as their leader?
The TCA community can expect openness, consistency, and a student-centered approach. I believe in balancing behavior, academics, and social-emotional supports to help students continue to grow both academically and personally.
