TOMBALL — Hundreds of impressive works of art were on display at Tomball ISD’s 2025 Rodeo Art Show, highlighting student artists who recently competed in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Program. Exemplifying excellence in their artistic specialty, eight students across five campuses earned Best of Show, Gold Medal honors, or a Special Merit recognition.

In addition to these awarded pieces, and in an effort to promote the district’s talented student artists, Tomball ISD celebrated the work of over 500 student entries, in grades K-12, district-wide in a community-wide event at the Tomball Event Center.

“We are so proud of the incredible artistry our students have shown in Tomball ISD,” said Tomball ISD Director of Fine Arts Paulette Tomlinson. “These students and their teachers have worked for months on these pieces, and these results are a testament to the teaching and learning happening in our visual arts classrooms. We are excited to see Tomball represented so well for the thousands of people who will visit the 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Student Art Exhibit!”

The eight art pieces that earned Best of Show, a Gold Medal, or a Special Merit recognition are on display in Houston awaiting the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (HLSR), but were featured digitally in Tomball ISD.
