Feel Good Story: Tomball ISD Student Artwork Selected for Statewide Exhibition
Student Artwork at TASA

In honor of National Arts in Education Week, Tomball ISD is proud that six pieces of student artwork from across the district were showcased this month at the 2025 TASA/TASB Convention in Houston, one of the largest education conferences in Texas.

These artworks were selected from a districtwide gallery of pieces created for the Tomball ISD Fine Arts Festival. A committee of TISD art teachers selected them to represent Tomball ISD.

“They represent some of the most creative ideas and advanced artistry from the show, and we were incredibly proud to see them representing Tomball ISD at this year’s state-level exhibition,” said Paulette Torchia, Director of Fine Arts. “Their work is a testament to the imagination, skill, and dedication our students bring to the arts each day.”

This recognition not only celebrates their individual achievements, but also reflects Tomball ISD’s vision of providing exceptional experiences where every student can explore their passions, grow their talents, and share their voices with the world.

Congratulations to these six artists whose pieces were represented at the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) Booth:

  • Hailey C., 3rd Grade, Decker Prairie Elementary (Top Left)
  • Melissa G., 9th Grade, Tomball High School (Top Middle)
  • Emma B., Kindergarten, Creekview Elementary (Top Right)
  • Claire M., 10th Grade, Tomball Memorial High School (Bottom Left)
  • Logan G., 8th Grade, Willow Wood Junior High (Bottom Middle)
  • Camila M., 6th Grade, Oakcrest Intermediate (Bottom Right)

Once again, their work reflects the strength of our district’s Fine Arts programs and proudly represents the talent we have in Tomball ISD
