Feel Good Story: Tomball ISD Celebrates Campus Volunteers for Their Lasting Impact Across the District

More than 250 dedicated campus volunteers from across Tomball ISD were honored during a special Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast celebrating the incredible service and support they provide to students, staff, and schools each day.

Representing every Tomball ISD campus, these volunteers collectively contributed an impressive 51,287 hours of service to the district during the school year, impacting classrooms, libraries, front offices, special events, campus programs, and countless student experiences.

Tomball ISD volunteers serve in a variety of meaningful roles across the district. From supporting PTO organizations and helping in campus libraries to reading with students and assisting teachers, volunteers help create positive learning environments every day. 

By volunteering, these parents and community members also support field trips, organize campus events, celebrate teachers and staff, and serve through programs such as Watch D.O.G.S., helping strengthen connections between schools and families.

“Our volunteers are truly an extension of the Tomball ISD family,” said Superintendent Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora. “The time, energy, and care they pour into our campuses each day make a tremendous difference. We are deeply grateful for their servant hearts and unwavering support of our students and staff.”

The Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast served as an opportunity for District and campus leaders to recognize and thank the individuals who consistently give their time to support Tomball ISD schools.

Whether working behind the scenes or directly alongside students and teachers, Tomball ISD volunteers continue to make a lasting impact throughout the district, demonstrating the power of community involvement in public education.
