A MESSAGE FROM OUR PARTNERS…

“In Tomball ISD, we are intentional and focused on exploring new opportunities and providing educational options for our students. Our Board of Trustees has been instrumental in supporting our continued partnership with Lone Star College-Tomball and HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball as we implement this new Allied Health P-TECH in Tomball Star Academy. This new opportunity will provide a premier educational experience for our students interested in a seamless path from high school, to post-secondary education, to healthcare employment. These students will be challenged, yet supported in all aspects of their P-TECH journey, and by the end, they will have achieved so much in the time they have spent with us here in Tomball ISD only to continue making a difference in our amazing community.” Dr. Martha Salazar-Zamora, Superintendent of Schools, Tomball ISD

“Lone Star College-Tomball, Tomball ISD and HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball partnering to provide the P-TECH option is a perfect example of collective impact. We all want the same thing—for our community to have access to extraordinary education and healthcare. Lone Star College is recognized nationally as a premier community college. Tomball ISD is one of the top rated school districts in the state. HCA Healthcare is also a premier organization. Individually, we are strong. Together, we make an exponentially bigger difference. Students who choose the P-TECH option will have the opportunity to achieve more sooner and advance in a healthcare career quicker.” Dr. Lee Ann Nutt, President, Lone Star College-Tomball
