US News Best High School Rankings

TOMBALL –  All three Tomball ISD high schools not only earned the coveted “Best High Schools in the US” ranking by U.S. News & World Report for the 2024-2025 academic year but were ranked among the Top 10% in the United States. The U.S. News rankings include data on nearly 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Texas Ranking: 119
Houston Area: 30
National Ranking: 957 (3.9%)

TOMBALL MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL
Texas Ranking: 165
National Ranking: 1,457 (6.0%)

TOMBALL HIGH SCHOOL
Texas Ranking: 240
National Ranking: 2,315 (9.6%)

The highest ranked U.S. public schools in the U.S. News & World Report's 2024-2025 Best High Schools rankings are those whose students demonstrated outstanding outcomes, surpassing expectations in math, reading and science state assessments, earned qualifying scores in an array of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions. Tomball ISD educates students to become responsible, productive citizens by providing innovative, individually rigorous, and personally valuable educational experiences. Founded in 1908, Tomball ISD now encompasses 83 square miles in northwest Harris County and southwest Montgomery County, and is located approximately 30 miles from downtown Houston. The district currently educates over 23,000 students across 25 campuses.
