Tomball ISD Families and Staff,
Happy New Year! We are excited to welcome back our students and staff and are looking forward to an exceptional spring semester of our 2023-2024 school year.
Over the last several months, we were tasked with an opportunity to collaborate and work together as a community to adjust attendance boundaries to incorporate our new schools and provide relief to schools that are at or above capacity through our District Zone Reset.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to our Committee members and you, our parents, who provided thoughtful feedback during the entire process through our surveys and Listening Tour. Your voice was instrumental in helping us shape the Recommended Plan that was presented by District Administration to the Board of Trustees on Monday, January 8, 2024.
Tonight, January 9, 2024, at the Tomball ISD School Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously approved elementary school attendance boundaries, effective for the 2024-2025 school year, and endorsed new attendance boundaries for intermediate schools, junior high schools, and high schools as recommended by administration through the District Zone Reset process.
As referenced above, the School Board approved the elementary school attendance boundaries, effective for the 2024-2025 school year as part of Phase 1 of Tomball ISD’s implementation of the District Zone Reset. Details on each phase can be found in the table below and on the District Zone Reset webpage. While the School Board did endorse the new attendance boundaries for intermediate, junior high and high school, those plans will be annually reviewed by administration for any small adjustments that may be needed, with final approval prior to implementation as part of their designated phase.
