Tomball ISD Swimmers Make Waves at UIL 6A State Swim & Dive Meet

TOMBALL — Student-athletes representing both Tomball High School and Tomball Memorial High School delivered an exceptional showing at the UIL 6A State Swimming and Diving Championships, earning multiple podium finishes, setting school records, and competing among the best in Texas.

Isabella Muir

From Tomball High School, Isabella Muir dominated in the distance events, earning a bronze medal in the 200-yard Freestyle (3rd place) and a silver medal in the 500-yard Freestyle (2nd place). Her back-to-back podium finishes highlight her endurance, determination, and elite-level performance on the state’s biggest stage.

 

 

Alexis Messina

Tomball Memorial High School also celebrated remarkable success:

  • Tyler Mury placed 4th in the 200-yard Freestyle and 4th in the 100-yard Butterfly, setting new TMHS school records in both events.
     
  • Alexis Mesina earned a bronze medal in the 100-yard Breaststroke (3rd place), securing her spot on the podium.
  • Easton Qin competed in the 1-meter dive, finishing 13th overall in the state.

Relay Results (TMHS):

  • 200 Medley Relay — 18th Place (Millie Pattison, Alexis Mesina, Sophia Lund, Emma D’Anna)
  • 200 Freestyle Relay — 16th Place (Tyler Mury, Chase Devens, Ian Wetterlind, Daniel McMorris)
  • 400 Freestyle Relay — 19th Place (Tyler Mury, Daniel McMorris, Chase Devens, Ian Wetterlind)
