Tomball ISD Names Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year; Celebrates Students, Staff at A+ Awards Ceremony
TOMBALL - Tomball ISD celebrated the 2021-2022 school year by recognizing exemplary students, teachers and staff at the 36th Annual A+ Academic Awards Ceremony held at Tomball High School. The District wrapped up the event by announcing Katy Tumlinson from Tomball Elementary as its Elementary Teacher of the Year and Lisa Stoyak from Grand Lakes Junior High as its Secondary Teacher of the Year.

Katy Tumlinson began her teaching career in Tomball ISD and has served students at Tomball Elementary since 2012.

Lisa Stoyak has served education for 18 years and has been in Tomball ISD since 2004. She joined Grand Lakes Junior High in its first year as a campus.
