Tomball ISD teams showed well at the State DI competition with three teams placing within the Top 8 to qualify for the Destination Imagination International Global competition on May 21-24 in Kansas City, MO.

TOMBALL – Imagination, innovation and creativity were at an all-time high as Tomball ISD students excelled at the 2022 Destination Imagination Regional Tournament last week. Five teams from TISD placed first and will have the opportunity to compete at the Lone Star Finals - State Tournament, held on March 25-26 at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Tomball ISD featured 20 teams across 14 campuses and saw its talent recognized with 24 awards, competing against multiple districts in a multitude of categories.

Texas DI sponsors Destination Imagination® for students in Texas because we believe that Destination Imagination is the best program for teaching these important life skills. Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Our purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. Annually, we offer seven new standards-based Challenges in STEM, Improv, Fine Arts, Service Learning, and Early Learning. Each Challenge is open-ended and enables student teams to learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation.
