OIS Student Antonella Montero Wins Region 4 Spanish Spelling Bee
TOMBALL - Oakcrest Intermediate fifth grader Antonella Montero represented Tomball ISD as the winner of Region 4’s Spanish Spelling Bee, advancing her to the State competition later this year in El Paso.
Montero earned the win in just three rounds, spelling her winning word of ‘abusivos’ correctly. She competed in the elementary competition against 22 participants across 10 districts representing Region 4.
Montero represented Tomball ISD after capturing third place in the District’s Spanish Spelling Bee back in November.
