Veterans Day Celebrations Become Staple in Tomball IISD

Each year on and around November 11, Tomball ISD celebrates the importance of honoring our country’s heroes and veterans on Veterans Day. Students across the district spend time planning, organizing and preparing for their campus ceremonies. A true community event, Tomball ISD schools welcome friends and family to campus to honor veterans for the sacrifice, service, and unwavering commitment to protecting our freedom.

From choir performances, to the presentation of colors by LOTC Cadets, to panel discussions, to tributes, these student-led ceremonies have become a true staple each year in Tomball ISD. 

Not only are these ceremonies a representation of character-building, but are a true representation of patriotism. Veterans Day ceremonies are a much-anticipated event in Tomball ISD each year which has grown so much over the years that the District now honors Veterans over a two-day span. 

Today and every day, we in Tomball ISD, thank and honor those who have served our country. To all those brave men and women, thank you for your service. Happy Veterans Day!
