Tomball ISD school cafeterias offer USDA Smart Snack approved a la carte items to grades k-12. To set any desired purchase restrictions for your student, please log in to your SchoolCafe account, and navigate to the Purchase Restrictions link (see example above). If you need further assistance, contact the child nutrition office.
Visit SchoolCafe to add money to meal accounts or apply for free or reduced meal benefits.
Payments
Money may be deposited into student accounts with cash or check in the cafeteria, or online at www.schoolcafe.com. Advanced payment is not necessary. However, this process is convenient for parents, and a child is always ensured a nutritious cafeteria breakfast and lunch. Contact either your school cafeteria manager or the Child Nutrition Department for information or questions regarding the above payment procedures.
It is free to use SchoolCafe if you would like to monitor your student's account. It is also free to set up low balance alerts to be sent to your phone or email. There is a third party convenience fee to use SchoolCafe to deposit money on your student's account, please see explanation below. You may also set up automatic payments and any account restrictions, if desired.
Tomball ISD holds a service agreement with School Cafe. The SchoolCafé website and its contents are owned by Cybersoft. School Cafe will accept minimum combined payments of US$ 20.00 and a single maximum payment of up to US$ 200.00 per student per transaction. Individuals registered with SchoolCafé shall be charged a convenience fee of 5.0% for each transaction made using this service. This fee will be charged to the credit card or check card at the time of the transaction. Cybersoft will promptly notify individuals registering with SchoolCafé of any fees or charges the individual will incur by using the SchoolCafé services. For payments made via the School Cafe system the student balances will be updated within 24 hours from the time of transaction. There are no fees for cash or check payments.
