Tomball Independent School District

Robotics Showcase

The Robotics Showcase is a chance for all campuses – Elementary through High School to showcase what they have worked on all year long in their Robotics Clubs.  The theme this year will be centered around the FLL challenge “Superpowered” or the FRC challenge “Charged Up” all centered around energy.  Each participating school will have an interactive activity for visitors to participate in as they move through the showcase.  Elementary and Secondary teams will compete in a Dance Off Competition with their robots.   The event is open to everyone in the district to attend and gives families that may not currently have a student in robotics an opportunity to see what opportunities are available for their student.

The Robotics Showcase is an opportunity for all Tomball ISD robotics teams to show what they have accomplished during the year in grades 3 – 12. Students start working with robotics clubs and teams on each campus in August and it culminates in the Robotics Showcase in April.  Visitors to the Showcase can enter at 5:30 through the doors at the back of the school that face the stadium.  The Robotics Showcase takes place in the cafeteria and surrounding hallways. At 6:00 we will have a Robot Dance-Off where students will program their robot to dance to a specific song. The students from the high school teams judge the dancing robots.
