Northpointe Intermediate is going "green" with our award certificates. We are trying something new this year with our nine week awards. Instead of handing out numerous awards each nine weeks, NIS will be creating a certificate of achievement that will be given out at our final awards each nine weeks. We will continue to have quarterly award ceremonies to recognize the success of NIS students. The schedule will be posted soon!
IMPORTANT: Transportation Changes - We cannot accept transportation changes via email. You may send them with your child in the morning or fax it to us. Our fax is: 281-357-3026.

The following website has information & tips on how to prevent the spread of the flu. It is important to talk to your child about different ways that they can stay healthy.
Information from the school nurse: If you child is sick or running fever, please make sure they are symptom or fever free for 24 hours before they return to school. The is a common courtesy to everyone at NIS. Also any medication (over the counter or prescription) should not be transported to and from school by a student. Parents or guardians need to bring up the medication and complete the appropriate forms in our nurses office. This policy ensures that all medication is handled and distributed properly.
Pick-up procedures: Please remember that you must have your driver's license with you to pick up your child early from school. This is a safety measure that has been implemented throughout the entire district. Also, if you ask someone else (other than yourself) to pick up your child, they must be on the student release sheet. Again, this is for your child's safety! Thank you, in advance, for your cooperation!
Important Information: School starts at 7:50 and ends at 2:50. Students are allowed in the building beginning at 7:15 a.m. Car riders are dropped off and picked up in the front of the school.
Change of transportation
If you have a change in transportation, please send a note with your child. If the change occurs during the day, fax a note to our front office no later than 2:00 p.m. Our fax # is (281) 357-3026.
