Technology for Learning
In Tomball ISD our mission is to prepare students to compete and succeed in the ever-changing 21st century. This mission requires us to recognize the power technology has on students' lives now and will have on their lives tomorrow and for decades to come. Students and teachers are provided with a dynamic set of resources and tools that bring relevancy and rigor to the curriculum such as; online textbooks and textbooks resources, SMART Notebook software and Google Apps for Education. With access to a wealth of digital resources, it is imperative that there is a strong commitment from our staff, parents, and students to utilize the district provided technology as responsible digital citizens.

  TISD Acceptable Use Policy

It is essential that students, parents and staff understand Internet safety and digital citizenship and the rules of safe and purposeful online communication. To this end Tomball ISD has established an Acceptable Use Policy to address these areas of concern while utilizing technology resources at school.  In addition, we have provided links to additional online resources to help ensure that our students, parents, and staff can increase their chances of having a safe, positive, and rewarding online experience outside of school.
